It is a practical method for improving ease and freedom of movement and thought. It is not a series of treatments or exercises, but rather a re-education of the mind and body. The Technique helps a person to discover a new balance in themselves, as they learn to release unnecessary tensions. It can be applied to any activity, and has helped people from all walks of life. Many actors, singers and dancers find it immensely beneficial to their work. Matilda teaches one to one lessons, small group sessions or workshops.
